Yoga For Athletes

Being a former hockey player and someone who participates in a variety of sports, I know first hand how big of an impact yoga can have on your physical and mental performance.

Yin Yoga

Yin Yoga is my personal favourite type of yoga not only to perform but also to teach. Practicing Yin Yoga has helped me with anxiety, flexibility, and mental clarity just to name a few.

Yoga For The Bros

I always thought yoga was for women before I tried it. After I tried yoga, I was instantly hooked and realized the tremendous benefits. My goal is to help other men experience that too.

Yoga For Bodybuilders

As someone who has become somewhat of a gym rat after my sports career, I am a huge advocate of yoga and the role it can play when trying to build muscle. Mobility, range of motion and flexibility are all a by product of yoga.

Yoga Workouts

Designing Yoga Workouts is one of the few areas in my life where I feel most creative. I love mixing yoga with the likes or calisthenics and isometric training to produce a fun and unique form of exercise.

Yoga For Beginners

When I was 19 years old and first discovered yoga, I was a complete beginner to everything. However, I loved every second of it and couldn’t get enough. Everybody’s yoga journey is individually unique and it brings me joy to be able to teach to those who are in the early stages of their journey.

Do THIS On Your Rest Day | Yoga + Calisthenics + Isometrics. Welcome back to Mike’s Yoga Channel and welcome to this Rest Day Yoga Sequence. This is a great sequence to do on your rest to maximize your returns from the gym. In this video, we will be incorporating three different types of exercise including yoga, calisthenics and isometrics. The calisthenics and isometrics portion of this sequence will help with building and maintaining muscle and the yoga portion will help with flexibility, mobility, range of motion and recovery.
